Tauride garden

Tavrichesky palace and park ensemble is one of the unique cultural heritage of St. Petersburg and survived to this day monument that became a kind of victory of the Russian Empire in the wars at the end of the XVIII century. It was owned by the earl Potemkin, an outstanding military commander who joined the Crimea to Russia (Tavrida).

Palm greenhouse, an-old building with more than a century of history, is located in the northwestern part of Tauride gardens on the corner of Potemkin and Shpalernoya street.

The Greenhouse is familiar to many citizens and guests of St. Petersburg, not only because of extraordinary beauty and abundance of exotic plants, but also by its cinematography. Episodes from more than twenty-five films, including “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson”, "The Three Musketeers. 20 years later” and “Mister Designer” were filmed there.

Hall of the greenhouse is perfect for exquisite wedding banquets and other celebrations. Rental cost of the hall from Monday to Thursday is 5 000 rubles per hour and 6 000 rubles per hour on Fridays and weekends. Seating capacity for a banquet event is 50 persons and for a furshet is optimally 70-80 persons and maximum 100 persons.
